College or no College is a question we all ask ourselves when we are in our Senior year? It’s a tough decision to make and a costly one for you and your family to make. You have to think about what is suitable for you and only you. The question is, Do you want to spend the next few years in school again, or do you want to enjoy what life has to offer?
So College or No College?
I have worked all my life, even went to a secretarial school thinking I would become a legal secretary. But guess what? That never happened because I had no experience, and everyone I went to for an interview kept telling me You have no experience. So I said to one, How will I get experience unless you give me the opportunity? He said I get it, but I am so sorry.
So with that, I gave up on that career and never looked back. I have had a few jobs in my career, but the best was Driving a School Bus. I loved it so much as I enjoy being with children. Then my career ended because of medical problems. So with that, I have found something truly unique, and no College required.
College or not, tell yourself never give up!!
College is not for everyone, and we all know that. But the hardest is to explain that to your parents. They all believe education is worth it and the only way to get anywhere in life is through College. Well, we all know that is not true either. There have been many that have made it through life without College and have succeeded. Follow what is in your heart because that will always lead you on the right path to success!!
So with all that, I am not telling you to give up on your college dream if that is what you want. All I am saying is that college is not for everyone, and I was one of those people. Giving up is not a decision but a choice that only you can make. But the way I look at it, giving up is not an option to make because you have failed. Find the path that is right for you and follow it. Never let anyone convince you that you cannot do that! Take pride in what you do and make it yours. FOLLOW THAT DREAM AND NEVER LOOK BACK!!!
