Hey everyone summer is coming with a lot of cookouts happening. Come and try this Easy Strawberry Dream Dessert. This dessert is so simple but believe me, it will not last long. This is one of my family’s favorite desserts and I get asked to make it all the time. This is great for a last minute request for a dessert.
Easy Strawberry Dream Dessert: Nothing But Goodness
So get your 9×12 dish ready and lets start putting this amazing dessert together. Here are the 4 simple ingredients to get. An angel food cake, frozen strawberries, 2 small packages of vanilla instant pudding mix and a container of cool whip. Now, I use sugar free pudding as my husband is a diabetic. Now the fun part of putting it all together: Here are the steps;
- Break up the angel food cake into pieces and put in the bottom of the 9×12 dish or a big fruit bowl
- Next put the strawberries on top of the angel food cake. I cut them up a little (I also use frozen as it adds a little juice from being frozen). I tried fresh and it was ok but dry.
- Next mix the pudding and put that over the strawberries
- Last spread the cool whip on top of that.
After you have it all together it is best to refrigerate over night. The longer it sits the better it is. So, now it’s time for you to relax until the big party with your family and friends. If you are making this for a fourth of July party, add a few blueberries on top to make it festive for the red white and blue.
